Why Poison Oak Is the F&%*ing Worst [Giz Explains]

My mortal enemy is not a man. Nor is it a beast, a virus, an addiction, or a female secret agent. It's a plant. A stupid, fucking, plant. Poison oak, poison ivy, and/or poison sumac (depending on where you live) is pure, insidious evil. Oh, and it's going to be extra bad this year. More »

Leaked Rayman Legends for Wii U trailer showcases NFC feature (video)

Leaked Rayman Legends for Wii U trailer showcases NFC feature (video)

If you're counting down the days till the Wii U is released, you might recall that back in January Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata said the console will ship with an NFC chip inside. Well, you can now get a taste of how games will incorporate that feature, thanks to this just-leaked trailer for Rayman Legends. According to the video, Rayman Rabbid action figures can jump into the game when a player taps them to the Wii U's screen. (It looks like that trick will work with an Assassin's Creed Ezio Auditore da Firenze figurine too.) Check out the trailer, courtesy of Gamekult, while you can -- after all, Ubisoft didn't want you to glimpse the U's magical powers just yet.

Sony?s Gamer-Friendly Xperia Play Could Have Had A Real QWERTY Keyboard Too

playphone1Sony's Android-powered Xperia Play debuted to mixed reviews last year, but according to a newly published patent, Sony was apparently toying with the idea of making something much more interesting before settling on the design they ran with. Not content with a single physical keypad meant strictly for gaming, the images associated with the patent depict a Sony smartphone with two of them -- one with the game controls we've become familiar with, and another with a full QWERTY keyboard that would slide down over the game pad.

Lindsay Lohan: "Nightmare" on Glee Set?

Somewhere, that gargoyle Rosie O'Donnell is cackling.

Lindsay Lohan's tenure on the Glee set may not go down as her finest hour, according to a source quoted by E! who claims she was "incredibly late" and that production had to send a car to the Chateau Marmont hotel to pick her a$$ up.

Par for the course really.

La Lohan

"Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday," says one (clearly less than thrilled) source on the Glee set of their guest star. "She was three hours late in the morning."

"When she did arrive, she just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and kept disappearing so no one could find her."

Some staffers on set were so miffed, they dubbed her "That Girl," adding, "She has rubbed them all up the wrong way by being so disrespectful of everyone else."

On the flip side, a highly placed Glee source says Lohan's scene went "really great, she was so professional and it looked like everything was going to go so well."

Lindsay's spokesman Steve Honig insists she was late because of a "misunderstanding" about her call time, and is displeased with this report. He says:

"The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at 2. They wanted to begin with Lindsay at 3."

"That meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was in hair and makeup and began after lunch at 3."

He adds: "If there was a problem, I would have just said 'no comment,' however I can't ignore this because this is utter B.S. This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today."

Another well-placed Glee source adds that despite the tardiness woes yesterday, "Everyone on Glee is still rooting for Lindsay. We had made a few jokes at her expense earlier in the show, and we really do want her to be able to succeed."

Lohan, who will also star in an upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic, has come under fire lately from O'Donnell, who warns she could end up like Whitney Houston.

The troubled star is back on the Glee set today finishing up her guest spot, which is set to air during the Fox show's third season finale May 15.

Confirmed: Those North Korean Communist Assclowns Are Pathetic [Weapons]

Those North Koreans are a joke, starting with their stupid leaders, their military imbeciles, the moronic scientists and the sheep that cry for their dead leaders while half of the country is dying of starvation. Witness their latest inanity after failing to launch another of their useless rockets: a parade of fake long-range missiles. More »
